     Are you looking for something fun to do?  How about learning
how to dance Salsa? Great way to spend some time with your significant
other, or if you are new in town, this will be an awesome activity to learn
and soon get out Latin dancing in Atlanta to make some new friends!

Check out our 3hr Beginner Salsa Boot Camp! We will teach you the
fundamental footwork and turns for both dances. It's easier than you think!
We will also teach you the fundamental lead and follow technique to make learning
how to dance easier and much more fun.
With just a little practice, we will have you getting your groove on in the Atlanta
Latin dance scene

If you are comfortable with the basic Salsa turns and footwork and
want to add to your dance repertoire check out our beyond the basics level. 
Check out the description below on how to know which level you should take. 
 
  - we encourage changing partners when we rotate but you can stay with 
    the person who signed up with if you prefer.  

  - If you don't have a partner to take the class with, give us a call / text
    after you have signed up for the class,
    and we will do our best to find a dance partner for you.

   Registration Starts @ 12:40pm - Class will start promptly @ 3:30pm

    Beginner Salsa Class -
    1pm - 4pm

Costs:

$40/person in Advanced; $50 cash $53 Card /person @ door
$70/couple ( $35/person) in adv; $80/couple ( $40/person)
   -- If we have an evening Latin Night on the Saturday you are taking the class
      You will also receive free entry to the party. ($15 to $20 value) 
  Refunds available up to 3 days before the class.

No Refunds if less than 3 days before class, but you can transfer to a
later class or boot camp of equal or lesser value.

No Shows / Miss the class - Give us a call to transfer to a future class up
to 3 months after original class that you signed up for, but no refunds
if you simply miss the class.

If class is cancelled, you will receive a refund.    


    

How to choose a Level:
Beginner Level 1:
Never took a formal Salsa class beginner who
never danced Salsa before. Even if you are Latino
or have dance Salsa all your life, but haven't taken a
formal Salsa class This class is for you.
If you have taken a Salsa Class before but is not
proficient with the basic footwork, turns or the rhythm
of Salsa this class is for you. We will go over the fundamental
turns & footwork and patterns that you can use on the dance
floor right away.
Fun class if you would like to get your feet wet in learning
how to dance Salsa.

Beginner Level 2: 
If you have the beginner Level 1 at least 2 times & you are
Comfortable with Right Turns, Left Turns and
can lead and/or follow the basic turn patterns
such as Crossbody lead into the turns.
Looking to add more Salsa patterns but not ready for 
beyond the basic level.

Beyond/Basics Beginner Intermediate:
Proficiency in the Rhythm of Salsa, basic turns, and footwork.
We will reinforce the turns and footwork from the beginner class &
add fun turns and footwork to add to your Salsa dance repertoire that you
can use on the dance floor right away.
Our Goal is to help you with transitioning from one move to another
so you can have fun on the social dance floor!

To be fair with the other people in the class,
If you are having problems shifting your weight when dancing
the basics and you are having problems doing the basic Salsa turns
and foot work during the class you will be asked to move to the
beginner level.  No refunds will be issued. 

                  Questions / Answers: Q&A:

Questions #1:
Why do we recommend learning Salsa & Bachata together, instead of
concentrating on just one dance? 
Answer:
Latin clubs typically play a variety of music. A majority of which will be
Salsa & Bachata. So, when you guys go out dancing to practice all the cool moves you will
get a chance to practice both Salsa & Bachata.  Plus, it will keep you from getting frustrated
with either dance. :) 

Question #2:
  What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer:
Wear Comfortable shoes, No flip flops,
No Rubber sole shoes, make sure the soles or bottom of the
Shoes are not sticky. If it's raining on the day of the class or boot camp,
bring shoes to change to because wet soles will make the shoes
sticky and harder to turn.

Women, heels are not necessary, but if you do wear heels make sure it's comfortable and not
too high. Also make sure your shoes are strapped in not the slide on shoes.
Men, your formal shoes are fine. Typically, no Rubber sole shoes specially if it's raining.
make sure the bottom of your shoes are not sticky.

Question #3:
Do I need to bring a dance Partner?

Answer:
No dance partner required. but encouraged. Let us know if you need 
a dance partner and we will do our best to have a dance partner for you.


Question #4:
Do I need to wear a Face mask?

Answer:
 No you don't have to wear a face mask. 

Question #5:
Can I pay at the door, or do I have to pay in advance?

Answer:
We do require a minimum of 3 couples for the class, so we
encourage people to pay in advance. We also have a maximum
of 20 people in the class. If we still have
room for the class we will accept payment at the door, but if
the class is full then we will not accept any more people for the class.
payment at the door is $55 cash $57 credit /person.

Question 6: 
What Kind of Clothes should I wear? 

Answer:
Wear comfortable loose clothes. Bring water, and something 
to snack on if you get hungry easily.
